Charlotte Voss
(BSc Hons, Dip ST, MSST)
Clinical Director and lead Sports Therapist
Charlotte has 15 years experience within the private sector and semi-pro and professional sport having graduated with a first class Honours degree in 2005. The majority of her sports work has been within Rugby and she has been head of medical at Hertford RFC for the last 11 years. She has always had a passion for all sport and in private practice treats athletes from a variety of different sports and disciplines, from amateur to elite level. She started Active Body Clinic in 2010 with the goal of providing the level of treatment and rehabilitation normally reserved for top athletes to everyone. She always looks to treat not only the area of pain but ascertain the underlying reasons for it, correct them and get patients back to sport and stay injury free. Away from clinic she loves spending time with her daughter Ava, husband Chris, Rufus the Labrador and Bruce her horse.
Chris Rainbow
(BSc Hons, HCPC, MCSP)
Senior Physiotherapist
Chris joins clinic after 6 years working in elite sport with Saracens RFC, during this time they won 3 European and 4 domestic titles. Whilst at Saracens, Chris gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in assessing and treating the most difficult sporting injures.
He currently works as the England Rugby Mens U20’s Physiotherapist and is studying for a MSc Sport & Exercise Physiotherapy.
It is the elite level of care delivered at the top end of professional sport that Chris is looking to offer, making Active Body Clinic stand out from others in Hertfordshire.
A former professional rugby player himself, Chris holds a BSc Sport & Exercise Science degree and a First Class (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. He worked for 2 and a half years in the NHS at The Luton & Dunstable Hospital as a specialist MSK physio and lead physio within a multidisciplinary pain management team.
When he’s not in clinic or studying, Chris loves to spend time with his wife and daughters exploring the great outdoors.
Rob Sibley
(MSc, MSST)
Sports Therapist
MSc Advanced Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation
Rob has working within both the sporting and private sector for the past 10 yrs and has a particular interest in sports injuries and MSK disorders. Rob currently works at Active Body, Hertford RFC and Haileybury College. He manages a varied caseload providing treatment and rehabilitation to athletes from recreational level through to professional level. His core aim is to help each client re-develop full function post injury and return them back to their chosen sport. Rob participates in a variety of sports activity including golf, football, tennis and running but his main sporting passion is cricket where he plays for his side Old Owens CC.
Cameon Withers
Cameron Withers BSc (hons), MSST
Cameron obtained Sports Therapy BSc (hons) from the University of Hertfordshire in 2021. During his degree he completed a placement year working within professional sport at a Ealing Trailfinders rugby club in London. He is due to get his Masters degree in physiotherapy in January. He is currently working as a Sports Therapist for Hertford RFC working with the Senior teams as I looking to finish my Physiotherapy MSc (pre-reg) by the end of the year. My passion is rehabilitation and the exercise therapy associated with returning from injury. I am also qualified in massage, mobilisations, trauma pitch side care and electrotherapy.
